We remember when… Brent shares a few stand-out moments
For Brent, many memories are tied to the milestones of Aesthetics’ growth and the role Connect has played in it.
One highlight was when Aesthetics won the Coventry and Warwickshire Business of the Year award, recognising the hard work of the whole team. Another is more light-hearted: “The Christmas parties over the years have been epic!” he laughs.
But the moment that stands out most came during the COVID-19 pandemic. The sudden demand for staffing at testing sites across the UK meant Aesthetics needed to scale overnight. Working closely with Lee, Keri, and the wider team, Connect was adapted to meet the challenge. The system was reconfigured to handle strict onboarding and vetting requirements, while also scheduling and paying hundreds of staff every single day. This included challenging environments such as schools, car parks, and even prisons. “Without the system, it simply would not have been possible,” he reflects. “It played a big part in helping the business survive that period and deliver such an important service.”
For Brent, these moments sum up his role: often behind the scenes, but essential to making sure Aesthetics runs smoothly and ready to adapt whenever the business needs it most.
