Ask Keri what she loves about her job and the answer is instant: the buzz. No two days are the same, plans change by the hour, and the satisfaction comes from knowing that, when it counts, everything is exactly where it needs to be.
“I love the pace and the unpredictability,” she says. “In events you only get one chance, so my job is to take the pain away for clients. I need to understand what they want, anticipate the curveballs, and make sure every detail lands.”
People are the thread running through Keri’s work. She prides herself on aligning the right team, in the right place, for the right role. She keeps close to the talent on the ground so she understands their strengths. “We’re a family” she adds. “You have to know your people to build teams that really work.”
Her own story proves the point. Keri started on-site in frontline roles before moving into operations, bringing with her a deep appreciation of what great delivery looks like at ground level. That empathy shows in how she develops people. One favourite memory is of a shy new starter she placed carefully, coached on-site, and watched grow into a confident supervisor who later moved into a top banking role. “We’re all on a journey,” Keri says. “Our job is to help people progress while giving clients outstanding teams.”
When she’s not on a concourse or in a control room, you’ll likely find Keri at the gym, at taekwondo, or with her daughters, recharging for the next live day.
