Abbie remembers when…

Abbie has experienced Aesthetics from every angle, in the office, in the field and now in event coordination.

One of her favourite memories from her years working on-site was being part of live concerts and major sporting fixtures. “The concerts were my favourite,” she says. “The atmosphere was amazing, everyone was in such high spirits, and you could feel the energy.” She remembers working VIP areas and hearing world-famous performers, including Beyoncé, a moment she still recalls vividly. “You’d hear the music, feel the crowd reacting, and know you were part of something huge.”

She also worked at high-profile boxing events and international football matches. “The crowds were completely different every time,” she recalls. “A boxing crowd, a football crowd, a concert crowd… each one had its own vibe. You never knew what you were walking into.”

But one memory stands out above all the rest. For her 12th birthday, Abbie’s mum, Lee, treated her and her new school friends to a night in London, watching Coldplay, Jay-Z and Rihanna from a hospitality box. “At the time, I didn’t realise how special it was,” she says. “Looking back now, it was incredible. We were all just turning 12, arriving by minibus, and suddenly we were watching three of the biggest artists in the world. It was mind-blowing.”

From childhood moments like that to supporting world-class events today, Abbie’s life has always been intertwined with the world of events. “It’s lovely to feel part of something so big,” she says. “Even though I’m behind the scenes now, I still get that buzz knowing I’ve helped make it happen.”
