The MLB London Series is a two-year arrangement for Major League Baseball (MLB) to play a total of four regular seasons games at London Stadium in London, in 2019 and 2020. Sponsored by Mitel, it is branded as Mitel & MLB Present London Series. These were the first MLB games ever played in Europe.
The first games were played on June 29–30, 2019, with the Boston Red Sox hosting two games against the New York Yankees. The second set of games are scheduled for June 13–14, 2020, when the St. Louis Cardinals will host two games against the Chicago Cubs.
Aesthetics supplied a team that was consistent over the 2 days with the managers attending an MLB training day to ensure that the teams could be properly briefed on the entire ethos of the games, the expectation of the customers and operations of the days ahead as they would be quite unique to the hospitality experience at other sporting events.
The event was a huge success and the staff thoroughly enjoyed their time at the games, engaging with fans from the UK and USA.
