Demi remembers when she was part of the on-site team at major UK venues, experiencing first-hand the energy and scale of live events.
Working at circuits like Silverstone stands out in particular. With the track right in front of her, the atmosphere was constant, from the sound of the cars to the excitement of the crowd. “It’s busy, but it’s amazing,” she recalls. “You’re working, but at the same time you’re right in the middle of it all.” The Red Arrows flying overhead only added to the experience.
She also enjoyed the contrast of working at large stadiums, where every event brought a different energy. From the fast-paced environment of rugby crowds to the scale of major venues, each experience was different, but always focused on delivering a great experience for guests.
Now working behind the scenes, those memories shape how she approaches her role. Having been part of the team on the ground, she understands the importance of preparation, communication and making sure staff feel supported before they arrive on-site.
