During the COVID-19 pandemic, Aesthetics rapidly adapted its event medical staffing capability to meet urgent, nationwide public health demands. In response to unprecedented and evolving requirements, we mobilised clinically trained teams across the UK to deliver COVID support services, including Fit to Fly certification and workplace testing programmes that enabled organisations to operate safely and compliantly.
Working closely with clients, our teams were handpicked and clinically trained by the clients’ own medical professionals, ensuring alignment with specific protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements. This collaborative approach allowed us to deploy trusted, reliable, and professional staff at speed, while maintaining clinical integrity and consistency.
We carefully structured rotas to provide local staffing coverage for up to 12 hours per day, seven days a week. Alongside this, we managed comprehensive COVID testing schedules for our own personnel, safeguarding both staff wellbeing and service continuity. Our workforce proved highly adaptable, with many team members multi-lingual and customer-service trained, supporting a diverse range of international and corporate clients.
Supported by our extensive staffing database, we were able to scale operations rapidly and escalate staffing levels at short notice as demand fluctuated. Experienced Site Managers were deployed to oversee both static testing locations and multi-lane drive-through facilities, coordinating teams, workflows, and clinical processes to ensure safe, efficient delivery.
This capability was delivered nationwide, with operational coverage across Scotland, Wales, England, and Northern Ireland – demonstrating our ability to respond decisively to large-scale, unplanned healthcare challenges.
