To provide a regular team of 23 event staff to form a ‘Here to Help’ directional team around Old Trafford. In addition, Aesthetics also supplied 24 ‘Ticket assistants’ for the first six matches of the 22/23 season.
Arguably one of the most famous clubs in the world, Manchester United has won a record 20 League titles, 12 FA Cups, five League Cups, and a record 21 FA Community Shields. Fans travel from all over the world to watch Manchester United play at their historic ‘Old Trafford’ Stadium.
Aesthetics were asked to supply two separate teams to work at Old Trafford – Here to Help and Ticketing Assistants.
Here to Help:
This is a regular team of 23 staff and 1 event manager to work at all fixtures that take place at Old Trafford. This teams’ main responsibility is assisting visitors on the outside of the stadium by answering queries and directing guests to their desired location. Due to the nature of this role, Aesthetics and Manchester United agreed a regular team was imperative in order to have the knowledge and experience – this has proved to be a great success so far.
Ticketing:
This is a team that only worked during the first 6 games of the season in order to prevent ‘black market’ tickets being used on match days. The team were deployed in small groups to carry out random spot checks on guests’ tickets and then report back to security.
